SimplySigns required a comprehensive website to showcase an extensive range of signage services - from shop signs, illuminated signs and window graphics to vehicle graphics, banners, hoarding and bespoke business signage. Dedicated service pages were created to give each area of the business its own detailed showcase.
Photography formed a major part of the project, with more than 800 images used throughout the website to demonstrate the breadth of signage produced and installed. This extensive image library was carefully organised, resized and optimised for web use in WebP, creating visually rich galleries while keeping performance in mind. A dedicated video header was also created and optimised for the mobile version of the website.
Alongside the WordPress development, extensive organic SEO work was carried out to improve the website's visibility for signage related searches. Service pages were optimised individually, with SEO focused copy, page titles, meta descriptions, image optimisation, internal linking and a carefully structured website architecture helping search engines understand the different services offered.
The website was connected to Google Search Console, with XML sitemaps submitted and important pages monitored for indexing and search performance. With such a large collection of imagery and content, performance and technical optimisation were also important throughout. SimplySigns is hosted and managed on our servers, allowing us to continue overseeing the website, hosting environment and ongoing technical requirements.
