My name is Jayd, and I have worked across the creative industries for more than two decades - building a career that spans web design, branding, graphic design, video production and animation.

My background began in the early 2000s after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Animation and Special Effects. I went on to lecture for over six years at a private college in Notting Hill Gate, teaching subjects including graphic design, media, web design, animation, and the arts. Alongside this, I worked as lead video editor for an independent studio in Kensal Rise under a former ITV director, producing music videos and promotional content for artists and performers.

Over the years, my work in videography, editing, and animation has been featured by both the BBC and ITV. My portfolio spans a broad range of creative projects, from corporate interviews and promotional films to theatre productions, performance art, music videos, comedy, and digital content for YouTube and social media.

I later spent seven years working within a successful signage and design business under the name of SimplySigns, based in North West London. I created websites and visual material for start ups and established businesses in a fast paced commercial environment. This included everything from business cards, brochures, posters, and vehicle graphics to shop signage and wider brand collateral.

In 2020, the business split into two, with one side to focus exclusively on digital services under the name SimplyGraphics, where I specialised in WordPress website design for a wide range of sectors including construction, architecture, estate agency, property development, hospitality, beauty, and medical aesthetics. Alongside website design, I also delivered branding, graphic design, animated digital menus, display screen content, and social media visuals.

To date, I have worked with more than 200 clients across London and the surrounding areas, and now operate independently on a freelance basis. My approach is rooted in clear communication, thoughtful design, and a straightforward working process. I believe in keeping clients informed at every stage, offering honest advice without unnecessary jargon, and delivering work that is both considered and commercially effective.

Much of my work comes through recommendation, which reflects the long term relationships I have built with clients over the years.
