An ecommerce website should do far more than simply take payments online. It should reflect the quality of your brand, create a smooth and intuitive shopping experience, and give customers complete confidence in both your products and your business from the moment they arrive. We design bespoke WordPress ecommerce websites for brands that want to sell professionally online, combining elegant presentation with clear functionality, thoughtful user journeys, and a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Whether you are launching a boutique online shop, a specialist food business, or a premium lifestyle brand, every eCommerce website is tailored around your products, your audience, and your commercial goals. From homepage layouts and category structures to product pages, upsell opportunities, basket functionality, and secure checkout integration, each element is carefully considered to make browsing simple, purchasing effortless, and the overall experience feel polished and trustworthy.
We create eCommerce websites that are not only visually refined, but also practical and easy to manage behind the scenes. This can include product filtering, variation options, delivery information, customer enquiries, and discount codes. Every build is designed with speed, usability, and mobile performance in mind, using modern WordPress development standards and optimised WebP imagery to help your products look their best while supporting a fast and responsive user experience.
The result is an eCommerce website that not only looks the part, but works hard for your business too - helping you build credibility, improve the customer journey, and create an online store that feels every bit as considered as the products you sell.

Some of our clients contact their suppliers, to ask permission to use their images for the website (which often times they are more than happy to do, as you are selling their product, which they will benefit from). They usually send the photos digitally, or grant you access to a portal where they can be downloaded. Some of our clients commission a photographer to take professional images for them. At the end of the day, the photos will do the talking, so it is essential that these are provided and are of high resolution, to make the all important first impression.

We will need all details for each product.
It is important that the user can see the relevant information immediately - for example how much the product costs, what it looks like, if it's in stock etc before adding it to their basket and going through checkout. The easiest way to provide this information is to create a spreadsheet with all of the information we will need to add each product - the name of each item, it's price, it's stock level (inventory), then it's description, then finally it's postage cost (please see more on this below).

You will need to provide different levels of postage, and their price points.
Luckily, there are many different postage options available, ranging from Royal Mail to DPD and Evri. Which company you choose to go with is up to you, and it might be worth researching their prices before setting this up. For example, you have several different sizes of parcel listed with Royal Mail (letter, small parcel, medium parcel, large parcel etc) with clearly detailed prices for each, which we would include in the website. We advise to pop a little on top to cover your time - for example, packaging time and materials, the journey to the post office to post them, and administration. This information is best presented in the above spreadsheet, so we know which postage option is to go with each product.

We always recommend Paypal and Stripe as the two main payment services.
In our experience, these two companies offer the simplest set up for your website, as well as straightforward access to be able to refund a customer should this arise. They are also wildly popular, currently listed as the two top payment gateway services globally. As with all payment gateway merchants, they will take a small percentage of each transaction you make, which will depend on the final income you make from your sales.
