NGC Smarter Homes required their existing audio visual website to be recreated after losing contact with the original web designer, leaving them unable to make important updates or content changes. The brief was to retain the established look and feel of the website while rebuilding it on a platform that could be properly maintained.
During the rebuild, we introduced a number of visual and usability improvements, refining padding, spacing and page layouts to create a more polished and consistent appearance. Navigation was also improved to make the company's audio visual services easier to explore, while existing photography was compressed and optimised for web without compromising its visual quality.
The website was rebuilt in WordPress, providing a fresh and reliable foundation while remaining faithful to the original design. Responsive layouts were refined across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, with particular attention given to spacing, navigation and the presentation of their professional audio visual installations.
The website remained with the client's existing external hosting provider, where the completed rebuild was prepared and launched. As NGC primarily generates new business through recommendations and word of mouth, an ongoing SEO campaign was not required. The finished website retained the identity of the original while providing a more polished, optimised and maintainable online presence.
