The website was designed around their visual portfolio, using large galleries to showcase completed projects, architectural CGI renders and professional photography. The Chalkline website was developed in WordPress, providing a flexible framework for presenting an extensive and growing portfolio of architectural projects. Galleries were carefully structured to work effectively across desktop, tablet and mobile devices while retaining the visual impact of the original imagery.
Many of the supplied photographs and CGI renders were extremely high resolution, so each image was resized and compressed specifically for web use. This significantly reduced file sizes while maintaining the quality required for a portfolio led website. The completed site combined strong visual presentation with responsive development and optimised performance, creating a professional online showcase for the architectural practice.
